It is now even simpler for customers to decide on a retrofit of existing fences. MicroGARD® is integrated into existing wire mesh, grating mat, wire and expanded metal fences, where a digital sensor cable as well as the hardware components are attached to the inner side of the fence. This system transmits the signals to the pulse delay measurement of the bus-based system and simultaneously provides the power supply.

Extensive laying of current and data cables is therefore not necessary. In contrast to analog systems, the digital technology of MicroGARD® works so accurately that it can be detected to ± 3 m at which location on the fence the system has been levered, completely cut, climbed or sabotaged.
A further plus of MicroGARD®: The digital sensor technology reduces the rate of false alarms significantly in comparison to analog microphone cables. The system software enables different fence areas to be calibrated separately. During installation, an analysis of the fence line to be monitored is carried out, as well as a fine adjustment, in case of which, for example, several alarm events can also be detected. MicroGARD® offers two possibilities for the alarm verification: Either through a graphic evaluation or through problem-free cooperation with existing camera and management systems. MicroGARD® can be integrated into higher-level security management systems and thus avoid the character of an island solution.
