PROFILON® ALARM A1: security film with alarm function

PROFILON® ALARM A1 security film is a patented combination of a security and an alarm system. The multi-ply laminate film with a thickness of 360μ meets the specifications of Class A1 of DIN 52 290, P2A of EN 356, and UL 972. With silver-coated alarm wires which are inserted into the film at distances of 4, 10 or 20 cm depending on customer specification, PROFILON®ALARM A1 combines mechanical protection with the properties of an all-over glass breakage detector.

By coating glass panes with PROFILON® ALARM A1, the risk of break-in, vandalism, sabotage and other assaults from outside is significantly reduced. In the event of glass breakage, PROFILON® ALARM A1 initially holds the glass in the frame and minimises the risk from flying glass. Ordinary or insulation glass can therefore be given the impact-resistant properties of laminated security glass, combined with an alarm function.
