StepGARD® enables the monitoring of horizontal surfaces, such as flat roofs, balconies, escape grating, stairs and similar constructions. Visually StepGARD® looks like continuous grating - where the detection is carried out by special attenuation switching elements that identify a weight loading in a defined order of magnitude.
Of course StepGARD® can be used as continuous grating without any restrictions. A special construction which prevents any perforation of the roof cladding is employed for flat-roof installations.
