World's leading trade fair Security Essen 2022

From September 20 to 23, 2022, HAVERKAMP showed the trade public the enormous effectiveness of the visually inconspicuous products at two exhibition stands and with impressive live demonstrations.

The HAVERKAMP Action Center is a matter for the boss! Company founder and Managing Director Ulrich Haverkamp took the opportunity to personally present the announced live demonstrations on the outdoor exhibition grounds. He had transparent security films from HAVERKAMP subjected to impressive practical tests. Among other things, the HAVERKAMP PROFILON^® P4A security film with resistance class P4A in accordance with DIN EN 356 A, one of the world's most resistant films for protecting buildings and vehicles and their occupants, was presented. Molotov cocktails and a 5-kilogram iron ball were thrown at the film, and an axe was also used. The result: no getting through and enthusiastic trade visitors from all over the world who were impressed by the enormous resistance of the thin films. The retrofittable HAVERKAMP PROFILON^® security films have been used successfully by police authorities in various federal states for years. It will probably not stop there: "The demand for our film products during the four days of the trade fair was huge. We want to play our part in averting danger. We are pleased that our reliable security products are being used more and more around the world and provide the necessary protection," says Haverkamp. However, HAVERKAMP's wide product portfolio does not only include classic security products. In addition to various films and perimeter protection, the company has developed a very special product that can be used by authorities and in the private sector, for example.
Switchable film offers privacy protection at the touch of a button HAVERKAMP ClickFilm^® is an innovative film that can be switched and dimmed and can be used for a wide variety of purposes. The smart PDLC technology (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) allows you to choose between a transparent or frosted glass look at the touch of a button using a switch or remote control, providing transparency or privacy protection as required. The degree of transparency can be determined using a dimmer. Segment switching is also possible. HAVERKAMP ClickFilm^® can be applied during the glass manufacturing process or subsequently to existing flat glass or even automotive glass. This flexible HAVERKAMP film is ideal for confidential conversations or observations.

Security Essen took place at Messe Essen from September 20 to 23, 2022. This year, with almost 400 national and international exhibitors and around 17,000 trade visitors, it is the world's leading trade fair for security and fire protection technology.
